NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS SWEEPSTAKES. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. PHONE & EMAIL ACCESS IS REQUIRED TO ENTER.
1. Eligibility
This Hoptoberfest 2024 Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is open only to legal residents of The State of Michigan, who are at least 21 years old at the time of entry. Employees of Project BarFly, LLC, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and/or those living in the same household of each such employee are not eligible to participate. This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
2. Sponsor
The Sweepstakes is sponsored by Project BarFly, LLC, located at 1575 Arboretum Drive SE Suite #404 Grand Rapids, MI 49546.
3. Agreement to Official Rules
By participating, entrants agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
4. Sweepstakes Period
The Sweepstakes begins on September 20th, 2024 at 11AM EST and ends on October 6th, 2024 at 11:59PM EST (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Entries submitted before or after the Sweepstakes Period will not be eligible.
5. How to Enter
During the Sweepstakes Period, entrants may enter by in-person at any Michigan HopCat location during hours of operation or an Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE), Limit 1 entry per person, per day, regardless of the method of entry. Multiple entries from the same person in excess of the stated limit will be disqualified.

6. Prizes
1 winner will receive a $3,000 gift card to Expedia $500 gift card to AirBnb & a $500 visa gift card with an approximate retail value (“ARV”) of $4,000. The total ARV of all prizes is $4,000. Prizes are non-transferable, and no substitution will be made except as provided herein at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize for one of equal or greater value if the designated prize should become unavailable for any reason.
7. Winner Selection and Notification
Winners will be selected in a random drawing conducted on or about Friday, October 11th at 12PM EST from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Winners will be notified via email & phone within 1 day following the selection of winners. Winners must respond to the notification within 48 hours to claim their prize. If a winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within the required time period, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and releases as required, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.
8. General Conditions
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the Sweepstakes, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, human error, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In such an event, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prize at random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in a disruptive manner.
9. Release and Limitation of Liability
By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor and its respective subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, advertising/promotion agencies, and prize suppliers, and each of their respective parent companies and each such company’s officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Sweepstakes; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone or network lines; (c) printing errors; (d) lost, late, postage-due, misdirected, or undeliverable mail; (e) errors in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; or (f) injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt of any prize.
10. Privacy
Information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor’s privacy policy, available at www.hopcat.com
11. Disputes
Except where prohibited, each entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in Michigan. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, entrant’s rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Michigan, USA, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of Michigan, USA, or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than Michigan, USA.
12. Winner List
To request the name of the winner, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Project BarFly ATTN: Hoptoberfest 2024 Sweepstakes Winner Request 1575 Arboretum Drive SE Suite #404 Grand Rapids, MI 49546 by December 11th, 2024. Winner list requests will only be accepted after the Sweepstakes end date listed above.
