We're excited to be participating in The House That Beer Built, a benefit project for Habitat For Humanity of Boone County. On every Sunday in May, we'll be donating $1 from the sale of select beers to help with one of Habitat's three home builds this year. The home's future occupant is a member of the Indiana craft beer community. Our first fundraiser is this Sunday and will feature these beers:

Bier - Baseline - American IPA - 6.3%

Metazoa - Milk Stout w/ Chocolate - 6.4%

Noble Order - Brewberry - Blonde Ale w/ Blueberry - 5.4%

Odd Side Ales is now here in central Indy! We hope you're as excited for this as we are! Come hang with us at HopCat Wednesday night and welcome these guys to the state. They're bringing some of their bests and we really think you'll agree once you've had them.

It's a whale of an ale! Unicorns are real! On the first Tuesday of the month, we raid our cellar and tap one of the most rare, special, or just downright delicious beers we can find. We like to call them Bangerz! Every Banger will be tapped at open, but when it's gone it's gone. We will have no regrets. Will you?

This month's Banger is:

Perrin (Comstock, MI)

BBA Imperial Porter w/ Coconut & Turbinado Sugar - 15% ABV

 

NO RULES were followed throughout the creation of this product. This gigantic 15% Imperial porter is deceptively smooth and subtly sweet with layers of flavor that never seem to end. Some say it tastes like a Mounds candy bar that's been dipped over and over again in rich chocolate and soaked in bourbon. Other people find flavors of coconut, cinnamon, toffee, vanilla, and coffee - and they would also be correct. This beer is special and there's a reason why it was named as the top beer in the world.

Bring dad in for Brunch Right Meow from 10am to 3pm. He'll appreciate the fine selection of beer on his special day. Pair it with a White Russian inspired waffle, or the Macaroni and Cheese sandwich, and you have yourself a real dad style treat. Meow!

First Course: Chilaquiles Verdes - Fried tortilla chips topped w/ verde salsa, queso, chopped onions, & cilantro

Paired w/ Original Intent - 6.5% - American IPA

 

Second Course: Egg Scramble - Scrambled eggs w/ bacon, sausage, green peppers, & onions

Paired w/ Green Tea Pale - 5.8% - American Pale Ale w/ Green Tea Matcha, Honey, & Ginger

 

Third Course: Chicken & Waffle Sandwich - Fried chicken breasts resting between two house-made waffles w/ maple syrup and melted butter

Taxman - Q2 - Wine BA Biere de Miel - 6% ABV

This series takes advantage of local grain, hops, & ingredients to put a decidedly Midwestern twist on a classic saison or farmhouse ale. Each release in an evolution of previous batches and as such is never the same. The series features wild yeast so these beers will evolve over time developing additional complexity with aging.
